Get a clean, bubble-free finish every time — here's how to apply your United by Color stickers and decals.

Apply in 6 easy steps

  • 1. Clean the surface

    Wipe the area with soap and water or rubbing alcohol, then let it dry completely. Avoid waxy, oily or freshly painted surfaces.

  • 2. Position it

    Hold the decal in place and add a strip of tape along the top as a hinge, so you can line it up straight before committing.

  • 3. Peel the backing

    Lift the white paper backing away at a low angle, leaving the design stuck to the clear transfer tape.

  • 4. Apply from the centre out

    Press down from the middle toward the edges with a card or squeegee to push out any air bubbles.

  • 5. Remove the transfer tape

    Slowly peel the clear tape back at a sharp angle, leaving the decal on the surface. Re-press any spots that start to lift.

  • 6. Let it set

    Wait 24 hours before washing or exposing the decal to water — this gives the adhesive its strongest bond.

A few quick tips

Apply at room temperature and out of direct sun. Keep fingers off the adhesive. For glass, you can apply to the inside so the design faces out. Small decals don't need the tape hinge — just peel, place, and smooth.
